We are an independent charitable organization dedicated to provide shelter, food, education and guidance to underprivileged children.These children come from broken homes, poverty-stricken families and some are abandoned. We take them in and act as their legal guardians until they are ready to support themselves. At Vivekananda Home, we prioritize education as it is the only way the children would be able to stand on their own. But since they come form various backgrounds where education is often overlooked, we are facing a daunting task in getting them to be interested in school.

How you can help?
Operating the home costs about RM 8,000 a month which includes food, rent, utility bills, pay for the staff, transportation and all the children’s needs. We welcome all kinds of donations, in the form of clothes, food, stationary and cash.

You are also welcome to drop by anytime to visit us and spend some time with the children or volunteer to tutor them.
