Rumah Shalom (Peaceful Home)

Located in Puchong, this charitable organization was formed in 1997 to provide shelter for 29 children. These children aged 15 years and under, come from very poor, broken homes and have had very tragic pasts such as abandonment, assault or sexual abuse. 

Until today, their aim is for all children to be given the opportunity of a basic education regardless of their background, so that they can grow up to be responsible citizens. The home endeavour to provide parental care and education, teaching them self-worth to lead a productive life.

Rumah Shalom 2011 Charity Calendar

We are raising funds for Rumah Shalom to buy their current premise for orphaned, homeless, neglected and abused children. Make their dreams come true and buy a calendar. Proceeds from the sale of this calendar will go towards raising the funds to purchase the property.

What You Get

The desktop calendar is sized 5.7 in x 9.7 in (14.5 cm x 24.7 cm) and has 13 pages with a paper jacket. The calendar has both Chinese and English dates, Bible verses in Chinese and English, as well as public holidays for Malaysia. The price for the calendar is MYR 7.50 each ($8.90 USD for overseas buyers)
